We had OVER 200 EXTREME ladies join us for our most EXTREME event ever to kick off our 2010 crops!! They came from all over (at least 4 states that we know of!) and brought with them lots of excitement and energy! We had 6 fabulous and talented vendors onsite to help keep them supplied with all the necessary items to keep cropping for the entire 36 hours! We were once again amazed at the generous donations to our Diva's Deserving Charity! This time we were collecting items for the local veterans at the VA hospital here in Topeka. The Monday following the crop we were able to deliver 4 LARGE boxes along with 2 LARGE and overflowing bags full of supplies that I am sure will be put to good use and greatly appreciated! Thanks for once again helping us to support great organizations in our local communities!
Below you will find a list of the EXTREME prizes given away at this crop, the vendors who attended to help make this crop so EXTREME and other businesses who also supported the crop and helped to make it such a success.
What do great friends, altered bras, charitable giving, lots of winners, crazy hats & photos, Pink Ladies and scrapbooking have in common??!! Diva Designs of course!! These are all things we had at our Fight For The Girls Crop on October 24th! This was our annual breast cancer awareness crop and boy did we have fun! The 15 hour crop flew by faster than any crop we can remember! We were usually running late for a prize drawing or announcement because we couldn't keep up with our schedule, or keep track of the time. We were just having too much fun! We had over 140 croppers and 7 scrapbooking vendors in attendance. We also had a massage therapist, an onsite photo printer specialist from Canon and the SayCheezPhotoBooth to help us document and remember all the fun we were having!! And if all that's not enough we gave away prizes valued at over $1000!!
This year we more than DOUBLED last year's money raised to benefit the Race Against Breast Cancer! That's right - we raffled off more than 26 prize packages with a combined value of over $1500!! We sold over $700 in raffle tickets alone, but that wasn't all! We sold 115 'I hate cancer' shirts, with $1 from each shirt going to RABC. The hotel sold 50 Pink Ladies from the cash bar and donated $1 back to us for each drink to donate to RABC. In addition we sold one of the altered pink bras that the cropping ladies decorated for J and I and when it was all said and done we raised around $1000 for RABC!! Oh yeah, and Emily Willis from Salon Hawk in Lawrence was onsite to add pink hair extensions for those that wanted to show their support for breast cancer awareness in this unique way. This raised another $240 for Emily's charity, Lawrence Memorial Hospital's breast cancer education and prevention program! All in all our crop and those in attendance helped put $1200 into programs and organizations that help women learn about, prevent and treat breast cancer!! What can we say, but THANKS! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
Below is a list of prizes given away, vendors that attended and businesses that helped to make this crop such a success! Thanks to everyone that attended and participated in this crop. As we wrap up our 2009 crop season we thank you all for the new friendships and great times and we wish you all the best! We hope that the upcoming holiday season is fun and memorable for each of you and we look forward to seeing you all in 2010! Be sure and check out our upcoming events page for 2010 event dates and details for the next crop and the coming year!
Thanks for taking a break with us and helping us celebrate summer AND our 4th Anniversary with a great Seventh Inning Stretch Crop!! That's right - we have been hosting crops for more than 4 years now! We thank you all for your support and friendship! We had over 150 croppers in attendance at this great event. In addition we had 5 awesome vendors, Pam Parks with Canon to demonstrate some of their newest cameras and printers and Dave Nations providing chair massages. We gave away prizes throughout the crop with a total retail value of over $1,900! We cropped around the clock for 36 hours and we had many croppers join us in staying up ALL NIGHT LONG! To reward these crazy and ambitious ladies we gave away prizes even at 2 and 4 AM!! J and I forgot to take our usual 'nap' in the middle of the night and got a little sleep-deprived and crazy - we apologize for our silly behavior!!
As always, we had a Diva's Deserving Charity selected for this crop. With your help we were able to almost fill the back of J's van with school supplies collected for the children currently living at the Rescue Mission in Topeka! In this current economy buying school supplies is an impossible challenge for some families, but thanks to your generosity and support there will be more kids locally who are able to get started back to school with all the necessities and parents that won't have to worry about how they will provide these items!
We hope those of you that attended the crop had as much fun as we did and we hope that all of you will gather your friends and plan to join us in October when we 'Fight For The Girls' at our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Crop!! Be sure and check out our CURRENT EVENTS page for all the details of this upcoming crop.
We had a great time at the April Stress Buster Crop! We had around 110 croppers, four vendors, and one massage therapist in attendance. We gave away 55-60 prizes with a total retail value of around $1,300. Vicki and I have been very unorganized since the crop and unfortunately the list of actual prizes we gave away has been misplaced! So, we won't be able to give you a list of the prizes this time, but we can assure you they were "Diva-worthy" prizes!!
We collected over 150 Beanie Babies and other stuffed animals to send to the "Beanies for Baghdad" charity. The animals will be sent to troops overseas to distribute to children there who have been through more than anyone can probably imagine. Thanks for the generosity of those who donated items and money to help with the shipping costs!
We want to thank everyone who attended the crop and invite everyone to join us in July for our next two day, 36 hour event in Lawrence. Check out the current events page for all the details!
It might have been cold and miserable outside, but in Margaritaville it was warm and pleasant - just right for croppin the weekend away with Diva Designs!! (well, ok, there may have been a few sections of Margaritaville that were not always warm but it was better than it was outside!) We had a record breaking crowd - 189 women joined us at this crop!! We had FOUR fabulous vendors on site and there was plenty of fun, laughter, shopping, prize giveaways, games and even some scrapbooking being done!! Dave was also there to help rejuvenate those tired, achy backs and necks and at 4am we still had at least 30 women going strong!! We had several that did not even take a quick cat nap all weekend!! We take our hats off to you! (We each took short naps and were still more goofy than you!!)
J and I would like to thank EVERYONE that attended, those that stopped by to shop, our vendors for bringing all their goodies and everyone that participated in any way that helped make this event such a success! We truly enjoy hosting these events, meeting new friends and seeing old friends. We really enjoy spending time with all of you doing one of the things we all love to do so much! It wouldn't be the same without all of you!!
Our Diva's Deserving Charity at this crop was the Christian Neighbor Center right here in Topeka. We collected paper products for them and once again we were amazed at the generosity that you all showed! We had MANY large boxes and bags of paper products to load up Sunday afternoon and the founder of the center was quite surprised and appreciative of what we had to offer them. Thank you for helping us to try and make a small difference in our own community!
Our Prize Table was chock full of great items retailing at over $1400! We spend some of your registration dollars purchasing these great prizes and are lucky enough to receive generous donations from our vendors and some other local supporters as well. We always love to see the excitement shown when someone unexpectantly gets chosen for a prize! (who can forget our "skipper" and those who wished to "thank the academy"?!) We want to further express our appreciation to our vendors for donating prizes and helping to make the cropping environment fun and a place where croppers can work on their pages and find what they need in a pinch! We also want to thank the community businesses that provided prize donations to help support this crop! We couldn't do this alone!!
The final Diva Designs crop of 2008 was definitely a success and J and I would like to thank everyone that attended or stopped by to shop and shared in the fun!! We tried some new things at this crop - games that got everyone laughing (and almost injured a few!), photos printed onsite, make and takes and even smoothies from the hotel concession stand! We had a great time at this crop and hope that all of you did as well. We had 115 spirit filled croppers in attendance, along with 4 awesome vendors and a printer specialist from Canon printing photos onsite. We gave away over $1100 in prizes donated by Diva Designs, our generous onsite vendors and other generous friends in the scrapbooking industry!
We also continued our tradition of selecting a "Diva's Deserving Charity" and felt that it was only appropriate since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month to select our local Race Against Breast Cancer organization. We made several calls to local businesses and were pleasantly surprised by their willingness to generously donate gift certificates, jewelry, club memberships, services, and other great prizes for us to raffle off during the crop to raise money. We had over 18 raffle "packages" to give away and we were thrilled to be able to raise over $500 to give to the Race Against Breast Cancer! This money will go to help women right here in northeast Kansas receive free mammograms and other diagnostic screenings that they otherwise could not afford! Thank you to everyone that purchased raffle tickets and congratulations to those of you lucky enough to win some fabulous prizes! A few won more than one!!!
Below is a list of prizes given away, vendors that attended and businesses that helped to make this crop such a success! Thanks again to everyone that attended and participated in this crop. As we wrap up our 2008 crop season we wish you all the best! We hope that the upcoming holiday season is fun and memorable for each of you and we look forward to seeing you all in 2009! Be sure and check out our upcoming events page for 2009 dates and details for the next crop and the coming year!
Special Thanks To Pamela Parks and Canon for allowing Pamela to come to the crop and showcase their fabulous printers and give away free prints to our croppers!! Seven lucky croppers even won free 13X19 prints!! WOW!
Vicki and I had a ton of fun (as usual) and it looked like the crowd did too!! We had fabulous vendors, prizes, classes, make and takes, massages, pedicures, and more. Diva Designs also unveiled our new product offering of kits for our many altering projects and even some page kits!! Our prize table held over $1200 worth of prizes donated by Diva Designs, our generous on site vendors, and some other generous friends in the industry.
Our generous croppers helped us to donate two VERY LARGE boxes of snacks for our Diva's Deserving Charity, the Special Olympics! THANK YOU!! We received the following note from Luke with the Special Olympics regarding your generosity:
I just wanted to say that Special Olympics Kansas really appreciated everything you did for us! We had an all staff meeting today and I brought in all the boxes of food that were donated. Everyone's eyes popped open. We have enough bars and goods for our Soccer and Bocce tournament coming up at the end of September for our athlete's meals. What a great budget relief that is for us. Thanks again!!
Our grand prize choices at this event were some that Vicki and I had a hard time parting with! We gave away a Cricut Juke Box, a Glue Glider Max with refill, a Chick Rolling Bag that was soooo cool, and a Cricut tote bag. The winners of these prizes were very excited! Congrats to them and to all our prize winners. Below is a list of all the prizes we gave away, our vendors, and our donors. This is what you can expect at every Diva event! We want to give away great prizes, and offer a fun and creative environment for cropping. Thanks to all of our friends who join us at our events and thanks to all of you who are thinking about coming... give us a try, you will be glad you did!!
Thank you to these generous donors and sponsors!
The Real Women Crop Event was a lot of fun! Thanks to all the croppers and vendors for making it a great day!! With the cold snow outside it was a perfect day to be inside with our warm memories. We had a full house with 118 croppers in attendance and 6 vendors on site.
There was a lot of work going on but also a lot of laughter, chatting, shopping, and WINNING!!! Everyone was a winner of a small goody with our lottery, lots were winners of a little something with our "scrap-o", and some lucky ladies won fabulous prizes donated by the Divas, vendors, and others in the industry.
The next Diva Designs crop will be July 26th & 27th in Lawrence, Kansas. We will post information on the site very soon. In the mean time, check out those calendars and start making plans with buddies to join us for a fabulous 36 hour event!

Thank you to everyone who made pages to donate to this awesome charity!!! We had many people donate multiple pages and one amazing cropper donated 65!
Kim R. was the winner of the brand new Crop-A-Dile II Big Bite and case which we gave away to give a little added incentive for supporting the Diva's Deserving Charity. While everyone did not win a prize, everyone was a winner to us for showing a great deal of generosity in time and scrapbook supplies!

Camp Diva was a blast! Thanks to all who came to crop with us!! We enjoyed being able to provide so many people with the opportunity to work on their scrapbooks and spend time with friends. We keep hoping some day we will be organized enough to join you in your cropping between prize drawings! We raised $615 for Camp Hope, enough to send two kids to camp this summer. We also collected two large boxes of scrapbook supplies for the kids to use at camp. Thank you all for supporting this amazing charity!!
We kept our tradition of giving away some really cool prizes at this event. Our Grand Prizes this time were a Cricut Design Studio software package, a Quickutz Squeeze tool with alphabet, and two Diva Designs Crop packages featuring one seat to all 2008 crops and a free shirt!! In addition to these prizes our fabulous vendors donated many cool items and gift certificates from their stores.
Thank you to these generous donors and sponsors!

Thanks to everyone who was able to attend the "Making a Difference" crop! Vicki and I had a lot of fun and we sincerely hope that all those in attendance did too!! We had 145 cropper-friends and 6 vendor-friends join us, gave away over 40 prizes valued at around $1100, and helped three community charities, all while enjoying the best hobby around!!
Thanks also to everyone who donated items to Toys For Tots and the Helping Hands Humane Society. The Humane Society was overjoyed with the VAN LOAD of items I delivered on Saturday! The ladies who helped me unload said, "You have no idea how much we appreciate this!" They were genuinely grateful for the generosity you showed in helping the pets at the shelter. The Marines were also very grateful for the huge donation of toys.
YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
We were overwhelmed with the support you showed to these two causes and we sincerely thank you for your generosity!
Oh, I almost forgot to say thank you for making and donating so many awesome cards for the "Cards for Soldiers" program! We had a nice assortment of cards to give to Kathy to mail overseas. You can bet these cards will be greatly appreciated by our fabulous troops.
If you didn't make this one, don't worry, we have several crops planned for 2008 already. Visit the Upcoming Events section soon for information on our January 19 & 20 "Camp Diva" Crop!!
Here is a sampling of the prizes we gave away! Our two Grand Prizes this time were a complete Clip It Up set and a Paper Studio Tote set featuring a large rolling tote and shoulder tote in cool new colors!!
Thanks to the following companies who donated prizes at this event!
WOW! What an AMAZING event the July 28th Flip Flop Crop was!! We had a sell out with 157 friends in attendance including our 7 fabulous vendors!! This crop was a celebration of our first two years in business so we treated everyone to a special goody bag valued at $5 and held a "thanks a LOT-tery" contest where everyone was a winner. Of course we also gave away an incredible $1300 worth of prizes!!!!! Do we know how to treat our croppers right or what?! It seems our croppers know how to treat us right too. In addition to receiving many thanks for a job well done, we were treated to a surprise cake by one of our friends... Thanks Alana!!! Thanks to everyone who cropped with us at this event and all of our vendors and donors. We had a great time visiting with new and old friends and can't wait to see everyone again in Topeka on October 27th!!

Thanks to all of our friends, both old and new, who joined us in Olathe to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day!! This was our first crop in Olathe. It was a great experience for us and it looked like it was for all those in attendance as well! We had six vendors on site, gave away over $1200 worth of prizes, enjoyed the company of over 70 friends, and shared a lot of laughs!! Congratulations to all those who won prizes, including the two grand prize winners! One winner took home a complete Clip It Up system and the other took home a Sizzix Sidekick with alphabet. If you couldn't make this one, don't worry - we have another event planned for July 28th in Lawrence that will be just as fun!!

We want to give a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to all of you who attended our Peace, Love & Scrappiness Crop on April 21st and 22nd!!!
We had a near capacity crowd and despite a few heating and cooling issues, everyone seemed to be having a great time!
Congratulations to the more than 50 people who took home our fabulous prizes, including one lucky lady who won a BRAND NEW CRICUT!!
Our prize table for this event contained items worth almost $2000! This is your registration money at work!

We want to give a big thank you to everyone who attended the Mission Impossible Crop on January 19th and 20th! It was a lot of fun for us and we hope it was for all of you as well. We were surprised and happy to have over 25 people still cropping at our 4 am prize drawing - although that number dropped by about 20 shortly AFTER the prize drawing! We would like to say "atta girl" to those crazy few of you who did not stop cropping to sleep at all!!! It might take a week or so to catch up on all that missed sleep but I imagine we will all be ready to do it again by the time April's 36 hour event rolls around! Congratulations to all who won prizes and contests and to Kim Crouse for successfully trading prizes to get her beloved Photo-opoly game!! Hope to see you all in April and Thanks again!!!!

Thanks to all of you who joined us at the Croppin' Café on October 7th in Topeka, Kansas. This 15 hour event was attended by 140 croppers, 8 vendors, and 1 massage therapist! As far as we could tell, a good time was had by all... including us! This group was enthusiastic and lots of fun, which is just how we like it. The crop featured our ever popular free morning coffee and social hour with cash bar; prizes valued at over $1000; vendors with the latest products, techniques and ideas; Make and Takes; scrapbook trivia & layout theme contests; and of course, lots of time to scrapbook with friends! If we do say so ourselves... this crop rocked! We must give some credit for the "rockin'" to our vendors, donors, and sponsors who are listed below. If you visit their stores or websites, be sure to let them know you saw them here.

Our first ever 36 hour crop has come and gone and we would like to thank all of you who participated, croppers and vendors alike. There were a little more than a dozen die hard croppers who survived the entire event without any, or only very little sleep. It was great to see people taking advantage of the very extended hours offered!
We had a lot of fun and, based on the feedback from cropper surveys, those in attendance did too. We continue to review surveys and comments received and will use that information to build upon the success we have enjoyed with our crops so far.
We would like to acknowledge our vendors and donors as an additional thank you for their participation. Please take a moment to visit their sites and see what they have to offer. Be sure to let them know you saw their link on the Diva Designs site.
Once again we had a prize table packed with the latest and greatest scrapbooking products. We gave prizes away throughout the entire crop... even at 1am and 4am, to reward the ladies that wouldn't quit! The value of the prizes at this event was close to $1500.
Thank you to all of the 185 croppers who joined us for this 15 hour event! We hope you had as much fun as we did.
We would also like to say thank you to the 8 vendors that participated and brought the latest and greatest products for all to enjoy. Many of these vendors also donated prizes for giveaways and items for our goodie bags. To view a list of these vendors please click here.
In addition to these fabulous vendors we had several companies make donations for giveaways and prizes. To view these companies please click here.
This event had several firsts for us including free morning coffee, a massage therapist, and the unveiling of our frequent cropper cards. In addition to these new offerings, we continued our tradition of bringing you a little something different with our evening cash bar and fabulous prizes. Our prize table was full of some of the latest and most popular scrapbooking products around. We gave away close to $1000 worth of prizes! To view the prizes given away please click here.
