The Diva Difference

Longer Hours - Our crops are at least 15 hours long, and some are even 36 hours! Longer crops give you more time to get more done... more cropping, more shopping, or more socializing - it's up to you. Of course if you can't stay for every hour, you can come and go as your schedule allows at any of our events. Cup of Joe - Diva Designs offers free morning coffee to help you get moving and motivated to start cropping. Don't miss out on those early hours because you are tired - let the Divas give you a java jolt... on the house!

Social Hour - We offer a cash bar in the early evening that includes limited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It offers the perfect opportunity to take a break from your scrapbooking and enjoy a little downtime with friends.

Prizes You'll Be EXCITED To Win - Diva Designs has a dedicated budget for purchasing fabulous prizes that you will actually hope to win. We also are fortunate enough to receive some equally fabulous prize donations from manufacturers, national companies, and our participating vendors. Lots of Cropping Space - As scrapbookers ourselves, we know how important space is at a crop. We generally use round tables with seating for four people at each table. This allows plenty of room to spread out, but still keeps your friends nearby. After all, what fun is scrapbooking without a little girl talk?

Sizzix Station - Enjoy free use of our Sizzix die cut machines and alphabets. Never used one before? No problem, we will be there to show you how easy and fun it is to create titles using the Sizzix system.

Early Crop Registration Incentives - We know everyone loves a good deal!! That's why we often run early crop registration specials where you can save money by registering prior to a certain date or at one of our events. Frequent Cropper Cards - Diva Designs offers a Frequent Cropper Card as a way to say thank you for attending our events. Once full, these cards give you five "Diva Dollars" which can be used toward ANY Diva Designs products, including crop registrations!! All you have to do is attend 4 of our crops and get your card punched at each event. If you attend a two-day event, you get your card punched twice! After your card is full, it is as good as a five dollar bill (at least at the Diva Designs booth it is!). Be sure to ask for your card if you don't have one.

Divas' Top Ten - Diva Designs puts a lot of effort into making our crops fun and exciting! You shouldn't have to do much to have a great time with us, but there are a few things we would like to mention in order to ensure your experience is the best it can be. Our "Top Ten" List
10 - Unwanted Scrapbook Supplies - We usually have a give and take table set up so you can give away supplies you don't want and take away supplies you do want. It is a good way to lighten your bag! The rule for supplies is much like that of clothes... if you haven't used it in a year, you probably won't!
9 - A Covered Mug - We will have a social hour with cash bar in the evenings but you might get thirsty before then so bring a covered mug... no one wants a spill to ruin a layout or pictures! We will provide free morning coffee and a water station throughout the day so you can put your mug to use with those items or bring your own favorite beverage to fill it with.
8 - Snacks - Cropping, shopping, and talking can really work up an appetite! The Divas will provide some chocolate at your table but you may want more than we can supply! Feel free to bring your own snacks or even meals if you don't want to lose any precious cropping time to go out and grab something.
7 - Tools - Although you would probably be able to find a vendor who sells just about every tool you could imagine it would be a good idea to pack your "gotta have tools" like your favorite trimmer and adhesives. The Divas do have quite a selection of die cut alphabets at their sizzix station that you are welcome to use to create that perfect title though.
6 - Your Frequent Cropper Card - Don't forget your card! Remember you get your card punched for each crop you attend and after 4 punches you save $5 on your next Diva Designs crop! (If you attend both days of any two day event you receive two punches!)
5 - Your Diva Designs Apparel - If you attend our crop wearing a Diva Designs shirt or carrying a Diva Designs tote, you will be entered into a special prize drawing! If you buy a shirt or tote at the event you will be eligible to enter as well.
4 - Layers - Regardless of where the event is held or what time of year it is, the temperature in the room is always the exact opposite of what you dress for! We suggest that you dress in layers or bring a jacket or sweatshirt with you to help you stay comfortable throughout the crop. Remember, there are sometimes 200 women at these events - it is next to impossible to regulate the temperature in the room to make everyone comfortable at the same time. At past events we have tried, and been met with steely glares from the maintenance person after about the 4th request to turn the air up or down!
3 - Your Husband's Credit Card or Your Secret Cash Stash - There will be fabulous vendors on site for all of your scrapbooking and shopping needs! If you use all your hermafix or need just one more piece of avocado green Bazzill cardstock, you are sure to be able to find it around the perimeter of the room at one of their booths. Our vendors are also very creative and can help you get over your "scrapper's block" or provide great tips and ideas on how to make your page or project one to be proud of! Please be aware that not all of our vendors accept credit or debit cards so having some good old fashioned checks or cash is a good idea.
2 - Lots to Work On - With at least 15 (and sometimes even 36) hours of uninterrupted cropping time you are sure to get lots done. We have had croppers who got so much done that they had to go home and get more photos to work with!

Your Friends - This is the perfect time to plan a day out with your girlfriends. While working on your scrap books you can enjoy each others company, catch up on the latest news, trade stories about those crazy loved ones in your lives, and even have a drink together at the cash bar.
